Entries Open March 3 for annual CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance Powered by AWS

Alton, Va., Mar. 3, 2026 – Operation Motorsport is proud to announce that entries open March 3, 2026 for the second annual running of the CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance Powered by AWS (V-RoR). The 8-hour endurance race returns November 6–8, 2026 at VIRginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia, once again taking place over Veterans Day weekend in the United States and Remembrance Day weekend across the Commonwealth.

More than a race, V-RoR stands as a balance of celebration and remembrance — honoring those who have served, reflecting on those who have fallen, and bringing the motorsport and military communities together through meaningful competition.

Sanctioned once again by United States Auto Club (USAC), this Veterans Day and Remembrance Day weekend event remains the only endurance race of its kind in North America dedicated to honoring military service and sacrifice. The second annual running will feature an 8-hour, multi-class endurance race supported by three championship rounds of Super GP America and two additional sprint races, creating a full and competitive program across the weekend.

Beyond the on-track competition, V-RoR will again deliver meaningful veteran-focused engagements, including the Heroes Dinner and a trackside Remembrance Service — moments designed not only to celebrate service, but to pause, reflect, and honor those who did not return.

Teams and drivers planning to compete in the second annual 8-hour endurance race are encouraged to review class structures, eligible platforms, the provisional schedule, and overall event format ahead of entries opening March 3. With expanded track time and a strengthened multi-class grid, preparation will be key to maximizing both performance and value across the weekend.

Comprehensive entry procedures, fee structures, regulations, and technical requirements will be published on the official event page at operationmotorsport.org/veterans-race-of-remembrance/, providing teams with a clear and streamlined submission pathway as they secure their place on the 2026 grid.

Teams are encouraged to secure their position early through a risk-free $500 deposit. Deposits received by May 30 will hold your grid position, lock in your preferred competition number, include two tickets to the Heroes Dinner, and secure priority placement on the first-come garage allocation list.

Each early deposit is backed by a no-risk guarantee, reinforcing our commitment to providing teams confidence and flexibility as they plan for the second annual 8-hour running.

“We are proud to open entries for the second annual running of this truly meaningful event,” said Jonathan Vance, Planning Director for the weekend. “The CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance Powered by AWS is more than an endurance race — it is a living tribute. It brings together competition, community, and commemoration in a way that honors service, resilience, and sacrifice. We look forward to welcoming teams and drivers from across North America to join us in celebrating our veterans and remembering those who gave everything.”

Spectators are invited to experience this powerful weekend of racing, celebration, and remembrance firsthand at VIRginia International Raceway. Ticketing details and event information are available at virnow.com/events/.

In recognition of service, all active-duty military receive complimentary admission to the Veterans Race of Remembrance, and veterans receive a 50% discount on all ticket categories. A valid government-issued ID must be presented at registration upon arrival.
