Greetings!

Season’s Greetings from Operation Motorsport

As we come to the close of another meaningful year, all of us at Operation Motorsport extend our heartfelt thanks and warm holiday wishes to our extended 22 Pit Crew family—our Beneficiaries, Volunteers, Staff, Partners, Teams, and Friends.

We are truly grateful for the journey we’ve shared. Your belief in this mission and your continued commitment make it possible for us to do what matters most: support medically retiring and retired service members across North America through Veteran Recovery Through Motorsport.

This year brought powerful moments—on the track, in the paddock, and within our community—that reminded us why this work matters. Together, we’ve helped veterans rediscover purpose, camaraderie, and a renewed sense of belonging, while building a resilient community rooted in Team, Identity, and Purpose.

As we look ahead to 2026, we do so with optimism and resolve. There is important work still to be done, and we are inspired knowing we will continue this journey alongside each of you—expanding opportunities, deepening impact, and creating even more transformative experiences for those who have served.

As you celebrate the holiday season, we wish you and your families time for reflection, connection, and peace. Thank you for being an integral part of the Operation Motorsport family. We look forward to what we will build together in the year ahead.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,

The Operation Motorsport Team

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas: New for 2025 Operation Motorsport Edition

’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the paddock,

Not a torque wrench was clicking, not even a socket.

The radios were silent (a Christmas miracle),

And no one was yelling, “WHO MOVED MY—never mind.”

The pit carts were parked where they absolutely didn’t belong,

But for once, no one cared—or noticed it wrong.

The generators rested, the fuel jugs behaved,

And the zip ties—miraculously—stayed saved.

The beneficiaries slept, dreaming not of sleep,

But of perfect pit stops and apexes deep.

Of teammates who had their back lap after lap,

And finding new purpose in a fire suit, not a map.

The moon on the hood of a sleek race machine

Gave a glow to the wheels with their polished sheen,

When what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But a miniature hauler and a crew in full gear.

The volunteers finally powered phones down,

After solving ten problems that weren’t written down.

They’d moved cones, souls, timelines, and the occasional car,

All while smiling like, “Yep. This is normal. We’re fine.”

The partners kicked back, polos unbuttoned at last,

Knowing this thing they backed had real staying power and class.

Not just decals and decks and deliverables checked,

But lives changed in ways you can’t spreadsheet or spec.

The staff? Absolute legends. Let’s be clear.

Running on caffeine, instinct, and stubborn good cheer.

If there’s a Santa for motorsport logistics and pain,

It’s them—quietly fixing things no one will name.

And out on the track, under floodlights so bright,

The Veterans Race of Remembrance replayed in the night.

Names on the hoods. Stories heavier than speed.

A race that meant more than the results sheet would read.

This wasn’t just racing—it never is here.

It’s service remembered, made loud and made clear.

It’s honoring sacrifice with noise, speed, and heart,

And doing it all as one slightly chaotic family of parts.

So raise a cup (coffee… probably coffee),

To Team, Identity, Purpose—and doing things properly.

To 2025, survived and then some,

And to 2026—yeah… we’re already planning. We’re done for.

Merry Christmas to everyone who showed up, stayed late,

Lifted others, fixed problems, and carried the weight.

You didn’t just make the paddock run right—

You made it feel like home. And that’s the real win. 🎄🏁

The holidays invite us to pause and reflect on what truly gives our lives meaning—connection, purpose, and service to others. If you are considering a year-end gift, we would be honored if you would consider supporting our Foundation.

Your generosity helps us create meaningful Veteran Recovery Through Motorsport opportunities, restoring purpose, belonging, and momentum for those who have served.

Holiday replay

Have a little extra time over the holidays to watch racing. Sneak away for some quiet time after turkey time. Watch the open grid, the pitlane Remembrance Service and all 6 hours of interviews and racing.
