Looking to Fall 2026
Veteran recovery through motorsport in Canada and the United States
As we look to fall, there is plenty still ahead for Operation Motorsport. Season 13 of Operation eMotorsport is heading into its final two rounds with every class championship still open. Preparations for the Veterans Race of Remembrance are gathering pace, the Honoring Heroes Hood Campaign is underway, and we are beginning to look toward our tenth anniversary in June 2027.
Through all of that, our focus remains on the people we serve. A place on a team, a useful responsibility and the chance to contribute can make a difference to someone navigating life after military service. Our beneficiaries bring skills and experience worth recognizing, and our partners help create opportunities.
This fall, I am asking our community to stay involved. Honor someone through the Hood Campaign, help us find an item for the Heroes Dinner auction, or introduce us to a team that could welcome a beneficiary next season. Each is a practical way to support the work.
Thank you to our beneficiaries, volunteers, partners and supporters on both sides of the border. There is a busy few months ahead, and I look forward to sharing them with you.

In just 50 days, the green flag will fly for the second annual CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance powered by AWS at VIRginia International Raceway. The November 6-8 weekend culminates in Sunday’s eight-hour endurance race, bringing our community together to honour service, remember sacrifice and support veteran recovery through motorsport.

| | The Honoring Heroes challenge | | |
The Honoring Heroes Hood Campaign gives us a way to remember those who served while helping beneficiaries take part in V-RoR. A $22 donation reserves a place for a military hero’s name on the hood of an Operation Motorsport entry. The campaign goal is 1,000 names across four cars.
We have also made a commitment: to once again include every beneficiary who has come through Operation Motorsport’s programs, along with every Canadian service member killed in Afghanistan. That is the Chairman’s challenge that is carried into this year’s campaign.
You can help by adding the name of someone whose service matters to you and sharing the campaign with others. Your hero may be serving today, may have left the military years ago, or may be someone whose memory your family continues to honour.
Campaign support helps our beneficiaries take part in the event and contribute alongside their teams. Thank you to everyone who has already supported the campaign. Please help us carry more names and stories to VIR this November.

The Heroes Dinner will take place on Saturday, November 7, at 6:30 p.m., bringing beneficiaries, teams, partners and supporters together during the V-RoR weekend.
The evening will include a live auction in support of Operation Motorsport.
We are looking for auction contributions that people will be excited to bid on. Artwork, motorsport memorabilia and distinctive experiences could all help us build a strong offering. If you have an item to contribute, or know someone who may be able to help, please get in touch.
An introduction can be just as useful as a donation. Thank you to everyone helping us bring the evening together.

Lackney leads after Hockenheimring
| | OPERATION eMOTORSPORT | SEASON 13 | ROUND 6 | | With two rounds remaining, every class championship is still mathematically open following 28 laps of Hockenheimring for the 25 starters in Operation eMotorsport Season 13. | |
Elias Roman claimed his first win of the season, leading 27 of 28 laps after starting third. Martin Wallace and Tyler Manning completed the Pro podium.

In Pro-Beneficiary, Justin Noel arrived on pole after four consecutive class wins but retired beyond half distance. Camen Lackney climbed from tenth on the grid to fifth overall, taking the class victory. He now leads the Pro-Beneficiary championship by three points.

Lackney began the season in the Beneficiary class, won at Imola and earned promotion. He now leads the Pro-Beneficiary standings with Le Mans and Silverstone still to come.

Garrett Wickham made it three consecutive Beneficiary wins and added the class fastest lap. From twelfth in class at the start of Season 13, he now holds an eleven-point lead. Evan Kerr also recorded a third straight Open class victory and leads by twenty-six points.

Next up is Le Mans on September 29, followed by the one-hour Silverstone finale on October 6. Every class title remains in contention.

Richard Davenport, Nolan Yuke & Zack Linton won the checkers at the Suzuka 1000 km (virtual @iracingofficial sim racing event).
Three #OpMo entries competed in this GT3 race. Operation Motorsport – Endurance White finished just off-podium in p5 (may move up – under review), with Sean Bramer, Dave Bell & Marco Naranjo at the helm. Operation Motorsport – Endurance Grey finished p15 (Cam Jordan, Brandon Mateo & Garrett Wickham).

| | Looking ahead to ten years of Operation Motorsport | | |
June 2027 will mark ten years since Operation Motorsport began. We are approaching that anniversary with gratitude for the people who helped us get started and a clear interest in creating more opportunities for the people we serve.
Motorsport Immersion and Diversionary Therapy, including Operation eMotorsport, remain central to that work. Each provides a different way for medically retiring Service Members and Veterans affected by military service to connect with others through motorsport.
As teams begin planning for 2027, we would welcome conversations about hosting a Motorsport Immersion beneficiary. A place within an established team, with appropriate responsibilities and support, can help someone rediscover what it means to contribute and belong.
If your team would like to explore becoming involved, please reach out. Those conversations now can help shape the opportunities available in our anniversary year.
