CrowdStrike and AWS Return as Entitlement and Presenting Partners for the 2026 Veterans Race of Remembrance at VIR

Second annual North American event expands to an eight-hour multi-class sportscar endurance race, focusing on celebration, remembrance and Veteran-focused programming

RALEIGH, N.C. (August 24, 2026) –Operation Motorsport® today announced CrowdStrike as the Entitlement Partner and Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the returning Entitlement and Presenting Partner of the 2026 CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance powered by AWS, returning to VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) November 6-8, 2026.

The renewed partnerships build on the successful inaugural North American event in 2025 and support an expanded second edition featuring approximately 18 hours of track activity across three days. The USAC-sanctioned weekend will include a Friday open test day, the inaugural race weekend for supporting series Super GP Americas and the signature eight-hour multi-class endurance race on Sunday.

“Operation Motorsport’s mission and the Veterans Race of Remembrance reflect the teamwork, resilience and sense of purpose that are central to CrowdStrike’s culture,” said J.C. Herrera, Chief Human Resources Officer, CrowdStrike. “We are proud to continue our support in 2026 and to stand alongside Veterans, beneficiaries, volunteers and the motorsport community for a weekend built around service, remembrance, recovery and teamwork.”

More than a race weekend, the Veterans Race of Remembrance (V-RoR) brings competitors, partners, Veterans, active service members, volunteers and race fans together around a shared purpose: honoring service and supporting recovery through motorsport. The event combines professional race operations with meaningful remembrance, beneficiary engagement, team immersion and partner experiences at one of North America’s most respected road courses.

“AWS is proud to continue as the Presenting Partner of the Veterans Race of Remembrance and to support Operation Motorsport’s work with medically retiring and retired Service Members,” said CJ Moses, CISO of Amazon Integrated Security. “The event demonstrates what is possible when technology, motorsport and a committed community come together to help Veterans reconnect with Team, Identity and Purpose.”

CrowdStrike has supported Operation Motorsport since 2019 and remains one of the organization’s most significant philanthropic and motorsport partners. Together with AWS, CrowdStrike helped bring the Veterans Race of Remembrance to the United States in 2025. Their continued support in 2026 builds on that momentum, enabling Operation Motorsport to strengthen the event, expand its reach and create additional opportunities for beneficiaries to rediscover Team, Identity and Purpose.

“When we first set out to bring the Race of Remembrance to North America, there was no event to point to and no history here to lean on. We had a belief that this needed to exist, and CrowdStrike and AWS believed in it with us,” said Diezel Lodder, co-founder and Board Chairman of Operation Motorsport. “That early trust mattered. Their continued support gives us the confidence to keep building it the right way—with the Veteran at the center of every decision and motorsport creating a place where Team, Identity and Purpose can be rediscovered. That is what this weekend is really about.”

2026 Weekend Highlights

•        Friday open test day, providing teams with dedicated track time ahead of the race program.

•        Super GP Americas joins V-RoR as a supporting series for the series’ inaugural race weekend.

•        An eight-hour, multi-class endurance race on Sunday featuring a diverse field of sports cars and prototypes.

•        A formal Remembrance Service, Open Grid, Heroes Dinner and live auction, together with Veteran and beneficiary focused experiences throughout the weekend.

The 2025 inaugural event demonstrated the strength of the concept and the community behind it, bringing together teams, partners, beneficiaries and volunteers for a landmark weekend at VIR. The 2026 edition is designed to build on that foundation while preserving the event’s central purpose: racing to remember and creating recovery opportunities One At A Time.

About the Veterans Race of Remembrance

The CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance powered by AWS is the only endurance motorsport event of its kind in North America and is held annually during Veterans Day/Remembrance Day weekend at VIRginia International Raceway. In the spirit of the original Race of Remembrance, founded by Mission Motorsport in the United Kingdom in 2013, the USAC-sanctioned race weekend honors the service and sacrifice of military Veterans while providing a platform to support recovery through motorsport. The 2026 event features an eight-hour multi-class endurance race, which includes a Heroes Dinner and poignant trackside Remembrance Service. The event unites Veterans, racers, teams and supporters in tribute to those who have served.
