Teams, Servicemembers Set for Veterans Race of Remembrance

ALTON, Va. – Nolan Yuke was a U.S. Army combat veteran who lost his sense of identity after leaving the military. Camen Lackney battled depression after being injured in Iraq.

Though they’ve never met in person, visits to the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen at Watkins Glen International changed their lives forever. They’ll meet in person at the CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance Powered by AWS Nov. 7-9, 2025 at VIRginia International Raceway. The green flag drops at 9 a.m. ET for the six-hour race that will share the weekend with the Mustang Cup season-finale and Radical World Finals.

A longtime sportscar fan, Yuke entered a contest for free tickets to the 2024 Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen and won them. While at the race Yuke met Operation Motorsport staff, realized his skills could make him a good candidate for their Motorsport Immersion program – where veterans are paired with crews in IMSA, SRO, FEL and NASCAR Canada – and signed up. In 2025 he began his first of two years he’ll serve with Meyer Shank Racing’s IMSA program.

We crowned champions this week in Season 11 finale of the Operation eMotorsport League!

The curtain closed on Season 11 of the Operation Motorsport eMotorsport League with an absolutely thrilling final round at the iconic Virginia International Raceway (VIR). The season’s most challenging circuit set the perfect stage for an exhilarating night of racing, fierce competition, and championship-deciding drama across all classes.

As the dust settled, our overall class champions proved beyond a doubt that they had earned their place at the top through skill, consistency, and relentless determination.

Pro Class

The Pro Class came down to one of the most intense showdowns of the season. Ken Copelin & Chris Walsh put on a spectacular battle at VIR, trading pace & precision in a duel that had fans on the edge of their seats. But when the checkered flag waved, it was Tyler Guillemette who stood tall as the Season 11 Pro Champion, finishing just eight points ahead of Matt Smothermon and 22 points clear of Martin Wallace. A well-deserved title after a season of speed, strategy, and unshakable focus.

Open Class

In the Open Class, Tyler Manning gave everything he had, driving the wheels off his Aston Martin to capture the win in the final round. However, it wasn’t quite enough to overcome the season-long consistency of Justin Bessette, who secured the Open Class Championship by a razor-thin margin of just one point over Manning. Mason Cardounel rounded out the championship podium, only seven points adrift—a testament to how close & competitive the field remained all season long.

Beneficiary Class

The Beneficiary Class saw Louis Rios emerge as the clear Season 11 Champion, thanks to an incredible campaign that built a commanding lead early on. Chris Glandon captured the final round victory at VIR, but Rios’s dominant performance across the season made the championship his to lose. Nolan Yuke and Phillip Chartier completed the top three in class, each showcasing impressive growth and grit throughout the season.

As the virtual engines cool, Season 11 will be remembered for its intensity, sportsmanship & the camaraderie that defines Operation Motorsport’s eMotorsport community. Congratulations to all our drivers, beneficiaries & supporters—thank you for another unforgettable season of racing excellence.
