A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN

It’s hard to believe we’re just 15 days away from our second Veterans Race of Remembrance at VIR!

What started with a trip to Wales nearly ten years ago has grown into something pretty special. This year, we’ll welcome 30 beneficiaries, an incredible group of race teams, volunteers, partners, and supporters, all coming together for a weekend that means so much more than racing.

I’m incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished, and even more grateful for the people who continue to believe in what we’re doing.

There’s plenty to be excited about over the coming days, but through all the preparations, let’s not lose sight of why we’re here: to honour those who served, remember those we’ve lost, and continue creating opportunities for our veterans.

I look forward to seeing many of you at VIR!

Diezel

We’re just 15 days away from the second annual Veterans Race of Remembrance (V-RoR), and the excitement is building!

After an unforgettable inaugural event in 2025, we’re returning to Virginia International Raceway with eight hours of multi-class endurance racing, an exciting grid, new experiences, familiar faces, and 30 Operation Motorsport beneficiaries at the heart of it all.

There’s a lot happening this year, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

One weekend. One motorsport family. One shared purpose.

EXPLORE THE 2026 V-RoR WEEKEND

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8

Get ready for eight hours of multi-class endurance racing on VIR’s legendary 3.27-mile circuit!

From the speed and excitement of our prototype classes to the close competition among production-based race cars, the 2026 grid promises an incredible mix of machinery, drivers, and teams.

With expanded classes, new competitors, and plenty of strategy involved, this year’s race promises to deliver excitement from the green flag to the checkered flag.

But this isn’t just another endurance race.

At the heart of V-RoR is our commitment to honouring military service and sacrifice while creating meaningful opportunities for those transitioning from military to civilian life.

Racing with a purpose. Remembering those who served.

This year, we’re preparing to welcome 30 Operation Motorsport beneficiaries to the V-RoR weekend!

These medically retiring and retired service members from the United States and Canada are why we do what we do.

Some will be working alongside race teams, others contributing to event operations, photography, and media, and many will be reconnecting with something they thought they had left behind when their military service ended.

A team. A sense of belonging. A purpose.

For our beneficiaries, motorsport is about much more than cars and competition. It’s about rebuilding confidence, finding new opportunities, and becoming part of a team again.

Thirty beneficiaries, thirty individual journeys, and a motorsport community ready to welcome them.

Team. Identity. Purpose. One At A Time.

THIS WEEKEND IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO ADD A NAME!

Our Honoring Heroes Hood Campaign is coming to a close this weekend, and we want to make sure no one misses the opportunity to honour someone special.

Once again, we’ll carry the names of service members, veterans, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice on the hoods of our Operation Motorsport race cars at the Veterans Race of Remembrance.

Whether it’s a family member, a friend, a fellow service member, or someone whose service and sacrifice should never be forgotten, we invite you to add their name and have them ride along with us at VIR.

Every name represents a story. Every story deserves to be remembered.

Don’t wait — the campaign closes this weekend!

We race to remember. We carry their names with pride.

One of the most anticipated traditions of the Veterans Race of Remembrance is getting an exciting new twist for 2026!

We’ll kick off Saturday evening with our Heroes Cocktail Reception outside the Pagoda at 6:00 PM, an opportunity to reconnect with friends, meet some new faces, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes the V-RoR weekend so special.

Then, at 6:30 PM, it’s time for the Heroes Dinner, and this year we’re changing things up!

NEW FOR 2026 — A LIVE, ON-STAGE PANEL DISCUSSION!

We’re bringing together a unique group of voices for a live conversation about motorsport, military service, recovery, and the power of finding a new team.

Moderated by DJ Clark, our panel will feature driver Kevin Boehm, OpMo Director of Ops Jason Leach, and two Operation Motorsport beneficiaries, Eric Toussaint and Mike VanCour, each bringing a different perspective on the relationships and opportunities that make our Motorsport Immersion Program so meaningful.

Expect honest conversations, a few laughs, and some powerful moments as we explore what happens when the motorsport community opens its doors to those who have served.

We’re also delighted to welcome Grier Martin as our keynote speaker, reconnecting with a journey that began nearly a decade ago when Operation Motorsport first travelled to Wales to experience the Race of Remembrance.

Add in special guests, a few surprises, our live auction, and the camaraderie that makes the Heroes Dinner so memorable, and we’re setting the stage for a fantastic evening ahead of Sunday’s eight-hour endurance race.

The racing starts Sunday. The stories that give it meaning take centre stage Saturday night.

A NEW TRADITION BEGINS — THE VIRTUAL VETERANS eRACE OF REMEMBRANCE!

Last weekend marked another exciting milestone for Operation Motorsport with the first annual Virtual Veterans eRace of Remembrance!

Bringing the spirit of the Race of Remembrance into the virtual motorsport world, this inaugural event demonstrated that camaraderie, competition, and remembrance extend well beyond the physical racetrack.

It was another opportunity to connect our eMotorsport community with the traditions and purpose of V-RoR, while giving drivers and supporters a chance to take part in something special.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this first event possible, from the organizers and volunteers to the drivers, broadcasters, and supporters.

The first of what we hope will become another lasting Operation Motorsport tradition!

As we count down these final 15 days, we’re reminded why this event means so much to all of us.

The Veterans Race of Remembrance is a weekend to honour those who served, remember those who did not return, and stand alongside those who are finding their way after military service.

It’s also a celebration of the incredible motorsport community that continues to open its doors, share its passion, and create opportunities for our beneficiaries.

Whether you’re joining us at VIR, watching from home, volunteering, competing, or supporting from afar, you’re part of what makes this possible.

We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be an unforgettable second annual Veterans Race of Remembrance.
