Veterans Day Race Celebration and Remembrance Day Service
The aim of the Veterans Race of Remembrance is to bring together and actively engage active service members, veterans, and the sportscar racing community through competition, celebration of service, and Remembrance. Successfully established during the inaugural 2025 event and continuing in 2026, teams in the endurance race host veterans as honorary team or crew members throughout the event weekend. An open Grid Walk, Patriot-themed liveries, a Color Guard, the Pit Lane Remembrance Service, the Heroes Dinner, and the Heroes Trophy have become defining traditions of the event, creating an environment that honors those who have served or gave the ultimate sacrifice, while reinforcing motorsport as a platform for Veteran recovery, by providing a Team, identity, and purpose.
The Remembrance Service
Motorsport and military service share core foundations—teamwork, precision, accountability, and mission focus—making the Veterans Race of Remembrance a powerful and recurring platform for veteran recovery. Each year, the event provides beneficiaries the opportunity to rediscover a sense of team, identity, and purpose that is often diminished following medical transition from service.
As an annual gathering, the event continues to introduce active service members and veterans to the motorsport environment while connecting them with a broader community of veterans who have faced, and overcome similar challenges. In parallel, drivers, crew members, teams, and partners return year after year with a shared sense of pride and responsibility, recognizing their participation not simply as competition, but as part of an enduring mission to honor service and support those who have served.
