Michelin Named Official Tire Partner of the 2025 CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance Powered by AWS

Raleigh, N.C., 22 May, 2025 – Michelin will be the Official Tire partner of the 2025 CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance Powered by AWS. This designation continues years of a valued partnership between Michelin and Operation Motorsport® that shows Michelin’s ongoing support of military veterans and their families.

Michelin will supply its 200 treadwear tire for the two, two-car teams Operation Motorsport’s veterans will field in the marquee 12-hour multiclass endurance event that will feature racing teams from across North America.

Michelin lends at-track tire support and will have tire engineers on site for the duration of the event as well.

“We couldn’t do what we do without support from our partners and Michelin has been there since the beginning,” said Tiffany Lodder, Executive Director, Operation Motorsport. “Having trusted partners like Michelin just means the world to us. It’s because of them we can offer a top-notch experience for our veterans and the rest of the field we’re expecting for the event.”

The endurance race includes a pause midway through to honor those soldiers who have died serving their country on a weekend that celebrates both those currently serving in the U.S. (Veterans Day) and those who have gone before in Canada (Remembrance Day).

Operation Motorsport provides a new start for medically released/retired veterans or veterans with a service-connected disability in the U.S. and Canada through two programs: The Operation eMotorsport League (iRacing) and the hands-on Motorsport Immersion program, which pairs veterans with racing teams and sanctioning bodies.

Michelin’s support of Operation Motorsport began in 2018 at the Race of Remembrance in Anglesey, Wales, UK.

“Michelin is proud to support the Veterans Race of Remembrance as the Official Tire partner,” said Raymond Cotton, Michelin North America Motorsports Director. “This event honors the courage and sacrifice of our veterans—values that inspire us every day. Through innovation and performance, Michelin aims to deliver more than tires—we strive to enable a better life in motion for all. Supporting our veterans on and off the track is a privilege, and we are proud to stand with them in this meaningful celebration of courage and community.”

Teams and drivers interested in entering are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the classes and eligible entries, the provisional schedule and the event format.
