Entries Open March 1 for Inaugural CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance Powered by AWS
Alton, Va., Feb. 27, 2025 – Operation Motorsport is excited to announce that entries for the inaugural North American CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance Powered by AWS will open March 1, 2025. This landmark event is scheduled to take place over Veterans Day weekend, Nov. 7-9, 2025, at the renowned VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) in Alton, Va.
This USAC-sanctioned event marks the first of its kind in North America, bringing together drivers, teams, veterans and sportscars to honor the service and sacrifice of military veterans. The weekend will feature a 12-hour multi-class endurance race, two rounds of the Ford Mustang Cup, and the Radical World Finals. Beyond the on-track action, attendees can look forward to a variety of veteran-focused activities and ceremonies, including a Heroes Dinner and a trackside Remembrance Day service.
Teams and drivers interested in entering are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the classes and eligible entries, the provisional schedule and the event format in advance of the March 1 opening date. Take advantage of early bird entry fee pricing until July 1, a deposit will hold your spot and secure your entry number, plus two tickets to the Heroes Dinner and a place on the first come garage list.

All active military receive free admission to Veterans Race of Remembrance and veterans receive a 50% discount on all tickets. Present a valid Government-issued ID to registration when you arrive.

The CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance Powered by AWS is the first of its kind in North America endurance motorsport event, to be held annually over Veteran / Remembrance Day weekend at VIRginia International Raceway. In the spirit of the original Race of Remembrance, which was founded by Mission Motorsport in the UK in 2013, the USAC Sanctioned motorsport racing event weekend honors the service and sacrifice of military veterans, while providing a platform for recovery through motorsport.
