CrowdStrike Named Entitlement Sponsor, AWS Presenting Sponsor for 2025 CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance, Powered by AWS, at VIRginia International Raceway

Raleigh, N.C., (November 5, 2024) – Operation Motorsport is proud to announce CrowdStrike as the entitlement sponsor and AWS as the presenting sponsor for the inaugural North American CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance, Powered by AWS, set to take place at the Veterans Race of Remembrance at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) Veterans Day/Remembrance Day weekend, November 7-9, 2025. 

This USAC-sanctioned event is the first of its kind in North America and promises to become a significant fixture on the U.S. motorsport calendar. Bringing together top-tier drivers, teams, and high-performance cars, participants will tackle one of America’s most iconic road courses. Thousands of motorsport enthusiasts, active service members, and Veterans are expected to attend, making it a remarkable weekend of competition, celebration, and remembrance. 

CrowdStrike’s partnership with Operation Motorsport dates back to September 2019. This year, CrowdStrike and AWS will again have their logos proudly featured on the liveries for Operation Motorsport’s two entries in the 2024 Race of Remembrance in Anglesey, Wales, UK. Veterans of CrowdStrike employee resource group members will attend the event to show their support and identify additional volunteer opportunities.

Event Highlights:

The CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance will feature the following: 

●     The 12-hour multi-class endurance race showcasing top sportscar talent. 

●     Two rounds of the Ford Mustang Cup, a fan-favorite event. 

●     A third race that will be announced when the plans are finalized.

In addition to the on-track action, the weekend will include veteran-focused activities to honor and engage the military community, race fans, and sponsors.
